SUSANNAH HICKS is a Los Angeles based actress and writer. Hicks began her theater training at Biola University. After completing her freshman year of college, Hicks was accepted into the conservatory program at the prestigious American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York where she went on to earn her BFA with an emphasis in acting (Los Angeles Campus). Immediately after graduation Hicks had the opportunity to work as a producer on award winning film “Neighbors” (’11) http://neighborsthefilm.com/
During her time in LA Hicks has had the opportunity to work as an actress in commercials, theater and films such as “Loveless in Los Angeles”, “Lucid”, and 2012’s “Remnant” which she also co-produced. Hicks’ has performed with many theater companies including The Met, The Coop, S-Cap improv troop and most recently with the Fuller Company in Pasadena starring as Catherine in David Auburn’s masterpiece “Proof.” Along with Los Angeles based theater, in 2013 Hicks toured throughout the US with comedy troop Call-Sign Vesper. Hicks currently studies with John Kirby at the John Kirby Studio in Los Angeles. Along with her work as an actor Hicks also works as writer for several companies including SAVN.tv, The Women In My World Conference (in association with Feed The Children), as well as several other entertainment companies.

December 2013: Hicks’ completed the teleplay for “The Summers Sisters” pilot in association with Tent Makers Entertainment.
January 2014: “The Summer Sisters” pilot filmed on location in Charlotte, North Carolina. Hicks’ plays a supporting role in the pilot.
January 2014: Hicks’ is cast as “Nadia” in the West Coast premiere of “Cold Tangerines,” based on author’s Shauna Niequist collection of essays.
